My name is Carla Mattioli, an English teacher from Bahía Blanca, a city in the south of the province of Buenos Aires. Learning and teaching a language is my passion and a source of intense curiousity for me. Since 2016, I have been teaching adults and, on occasions, children and adolescents. However, I prefer working with adults. As far as my professional development is concerned, I would very much like to further my knowledge in the areas of linguistics and language learning and teaching. That is the reason why I have chosen to pursue this career, in other words, because I have many questions as regards the nature of both first and foreign language acquisition. In addition to this, in the process of answering those questions, I hope to improve my teaching practice and my students' learning experiences.
